In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED created a program called TEDx.

TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share TED-like experiences.

Our event is called TEDxAnchorage, where x = independently organized TED event.

At our 2024 TEDxAnchorage conference, TEDTalks, video, and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in an intimate group.

The TED group provides general guidance for TEDx events, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
